Using slightly off-white color fabric on the bust region and black-fabric-on-the-sides, he gives the client a perfect hourglass figure. Off-white 'shadow effect' makes woman’s breasts appear much larger while black color on sides decrease waist length.

BTW, Kate Winslet premiered Stella McCartney's dress at the Venice Film Festival, and it was so noticeably figure-altering that it was quickly dubbed "The Optical Illusion Dress" by the press.

It's our brain which get confused whenever the star-shaped projections on the two objects line up perfectly and gives the impression that the blue inner shape tweak backwards (i.e. counter-clockwise).

What causes this mysterious illusion?
