Mirror Vase Illusion

the mirror vase optical illusion!

Nothing wrong with the first picture, this view of a vase reflected in a mirror is as we might expect it to look ..... but, what happened with the second one? How it didn't reflect the vase with flower?

Actually, there is no mirror ..... two bud vases are placed either side of a frame, it's our assumption about there being a mirror that reflects the vase.
